Great branding, great visual expression, great communications design, great digital design come from convergence. Inspirational thinking and executional precision. Boldness and subtlety. Intellectual intelligence and emotional intelligence. Experience and experimentation. Sophistication and exuberance. Structure and fluidity. Because one without the other does not create the necessary whole.
Born and raised in France and an American for 20+ years, I bring this convergence to my multi-disciplinary work spanning all the areas of expression that are relevant today.
Given my French culture and education, it comes naturally to me to analyze, question and debate. But after many years in the U.S. (and now as an American citizen), I have embraced the need to turn analysis into action to bring design solutions vividly to life.
Systems of design require a sophisticated approach. Brands, campaigns, websites and applications all require customer-centered insight, careful reflection of audiences goals and project objectives. My work is sophisticated in all these ways. But…I also move with the speed of need and opportunity.
We French love intellectual pursuit; we love to think things through (and through). We Americans are more direct and exuberant. Today, IQ and EQ must play equal roles. Consumers demand tangible benefit. They equally demand emotional connection.
I have 25+ years of experience in branding, content, CX, and marketing across many B2B and B2C sectors. I am a lifelong student of data and research. I value curiosity, culture and context. I constantly explore new thinking and approaches. I provide as a result the convergence of creative intuition and technique.
Design in a world of infinite channels and touchpoints requires that we bring coherence to the brand and its ecosystem. But not at the expense of flexibility and extensibility. Design environments stopped being static years ago. Design as a result must be dynamic.
